Serenade

Serenade is a compendium of popular songs, poems and tunes set to music by a number of composers. This recital is also done in three parts: Spanish, French and English. The selection of those songs was casual but the entire recital has a different sensation compared to Prosa. Serenade dives into four complete song cycles. The experience on stage gives a sensation of growth and seasons. In my experience, I'd say that Siete canciones Populares Españolas represent autumn; Cinq melodies de Venisse represent Winter, Cinq Melodies Populares Greques represent Spring and finally Songs of Sea and Life represent the Summer.

This recital contrasts Prosa since its technically not challenging, it tries to find simplicity in the complex and ultimately gives a relaxed sensation for both the performer and the audience.
